Ian has over twenty years experience of working closely with a number of owner-managed businesses, and has run his own business since 1985. He provides an all round service but these days concentrates on personal financial planning and business decision making. His family background makes it easy for him to translate all of the technical information into basic facts that the layman can understand.

Outside work:

Ian loves cricket, but is first to admit that his skills are extremely limited. In addition, he values his friendships outside the office and still ensures he doesn't lose his working class roots.

Mark has over ten years experience in accountancy practice and has spent most of his years with Pethericks & Gillard. He has come up through the ranks building on his technical knowledge and client experience. Mark is also the resident I.T. expert, skills that he is passing onto other team members.

Outside work:

Mark is the office "Hustler" being a keen pool player. Like Ian, he keeps close to his roots with a variety of friends outside the work environment.

Robin joined Pethericks & Gillard in the spring of 1996, having spent a number of years training with a medium size Bristol practice. His specialty lies in audit and matters of self employment status.

Outside work:

The classic VW Beetle often seen outside the office is Robin's pride and joy. Robin is also a keen rugby player, playing for Midsomer Norton Rugby club and obviously pays the local paper's photographer well as he can be seen most weeks in action on the local paper's sports pages!

Mark has now notched up nearly twenty-five years as a qualified professional, most of which have been as a business owner. Mark's client involvement is limited to special projects and he helps form the overall strategy of Pethericks & Gillard and undertakes some of the background administration.

Outside work:

In the winter Mark loves his skiing, needing at least six weeks on the slopes to get fully fit, not that he ever gets fully fit. During the summer, the skis get put away and the small boat comes out to play off the Devon coastline.
